Nigerian talent manager Paulo Okoye has made an earnest appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, prominent businessman Aliko Dangote, and the CEO of NNPCL to consider lowering the price of petroleum to N450 for the benefit of the general public.
Gistreel previously reported on the ongoing fuel scarcity and the escalating prices of fuel across the nation. As of Tuesday morning, certain NNPCL retail stations in Lagos were observed selling fuel at prices ranging from N865 to N897 per litre. This trend has been noted at various NNPC retail locations, especially in Lagos and Abuja.
He kindly urged these leaders to take action in reducing petrol prices as a demonstration of their commitment to the well-being of Nigerians.
In his Instagram post, Paulo Okoye emphasized that his request was made sincerely and should not be interpreted as a demand.
He wrote:
“Our President
Oga Aliko Dangote
NNPCL CEO
If you believe you love Nigerians,
You should reduce the price of petroleum to N450.
We dey beg Please Biko”
