Reality TV personality Kim Oprah recently shared her experience with immigration officials in Kenya. In a recent “get ready with me” video, she opened up about a frustrating incident during one of her trips to another African nation.
Kim mentioned that she holds a second citizenship, which typically allows for visa-free travel to several African countries, including Kenya and Tanzania.
Despite this, the Kenyan immigration officers insisted that she use her Nigerian passport and obtain a visa.
According to Kim, the immigration staff explained that they were concerned about African nationals from other countries exploiting the visa-free policy for illegal activities, which is why they required her to have a visa.
Eventually, after applying for a visa on arrival, she was granted permission to enter Kenya without any further issues.
