In other news, Damola Olatunji has responded to Nkechi Blessing’s public apology directed towards the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and its president, Mr. Latin, during the entertainment awards held in Canada.

In a display of contrition, Nkechi Blessing knelt to publicly recognize her mistakes before TAMPAN.

In his reaction, Damola shared the widely circulated video on his social media account, commending the actress for her humility and bravery.

He wrote;

”Back in 2021, while I was the chairman TAMPAN guild of directors (TGD).

Nkechi Blessing expressed an open criticism toward TAMPAN and some of its respected elders/members.

At that time, her actions stirred notable tension within the association and industry at large, leading to her suspension by TAMPAN’s national body through TAMPAN GUILD OF DIRECTORS (TGD) chaired by my humble self Emperor Damola Olatunji.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter as Nkechi blessing tenders a public apology to the association.

It takes a courageous person to apologize in public.
