The late veteran singer Onyeka Onwenu, widely recognized as the Elegant Stallion, is set to be interred in Lagos today.
Onwenu reportedly collapsed and passed away on July 30 at Reddington Hospital in Ikeja after performing at the birthday celebration of Dr. Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
According to the family’s announcement, the funeral service will be held at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, followed by a private burial at a vault in Ikoyi.
Additionally, a funeral flyer indicates that the Service of Songs is planned for 10 AM to 12 PM, while the burial will take place from 2 PM to 4 PM.
