American pop icon Lady Gaga has disclosed that it was her mother who introduced her to her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
In a recent interview with Vogue, the 38-year-old artist shared that her mother had informed her of having found a suitable partner after meeting the 46-year-old.
Gaga expressed her surprise, stating that she never anticipated her mother would identify the “most perfect person” for her.
She recounted, “My mom met him and said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ to which I replied, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I could never have envisioned that my mom… would find the most perfect person for me.”
It is noteworthy that Lady Gaga confirmed her engagement to Polansky during a discussion with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics in July.
The couple initially sparked dating rumors when they were seen together at a New Year’s Eve celebration in Las Vegas in 2019.
They subsequently validated their relationship a few months later via Instagram.
In early 2023, reports from the Daily Mail indicated that they had briefly separated, but by August of that year, they appeared to have reconciled.
In March of this year, they celebrated Gaga’s 38th birthday with friends at Giorgio Baldi in California.
