How the devil tried to use my trauma against my pregnancy - Actress Debbie Shokoya

Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has courageously shared her heartfelt experience during her pregnancy, following the sorrow of a previous loss.

In a recent Instagram post, Shokoya disclosed that her first hurdle arose when she received a medical report indicating elevated prolactin levels, which implied that conception might not be possible that month.

Nevertheless, she articulated how, in spite of these discouraging findings, her faith remained unwavering. “I thought I lost but God was planning the best for me,” she wrote.

“Result said ‘High Prolactin’ and I shouldn’t bother trying that month until it was normal, but God was smiling and said ‘It’s this month!” Shokoya’s message radiated gratitude as she recounted how the adversary sought to exploit her past trauma.

Despite these trials, she is convinced that divine support altered her circumstances. “The devil tried using my trauma against me on this journey, but God was standing for me,” she shared. “God blessed me beyond how I can describe His love for me!”In her post, Shokoya expressed her intention to delve deeper into her story on her YouTube channel, “DEBBIE SHOW TV.”

She urged her followers to maintain faith in God’s plan, regardless of the challenges they may encounter. “When men say there is a casting down, God said, ‘There’s a lifting up!” she asserted.

As she welcomed the new month, Shokoya inspired her audience with a powerful message: “God is working, and if you believe, He is on your matter and so passionate about you! It won’t happen in your own way; it will happen in God’s way, and trust me… it makes sense.”
