Adedamola Adefolahan, also known as Fireboy DML, is preparing to release his fourth studio album, “Adedamola”.
The Everyday crooner released the album tracklist, which includes 14 tracks, on his Instagram page.
According to the YBNL-signed singer, the much awaited album will be available on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
The album boasts a star-studded lineup of music superstars, including Seun Kuti, Lagbaja, Lojay, DJ Spinall, and Jon Batiste, the project’s only international contributor.
The album contains the songs “Iseoluwa,” “Call me,” “Ecstasy,” “Hell and back,” “Letting go,” “Back n forth,” “Ready,” and “Wande’s bop.”
Other tracks include ‘Change Your Life’, ‘Obaa Sima’, ‘Need Me’, ‘Yawa’, ‘Everyday’, and ‘Jon’s Interlude’.Fireboy, who is signed with YBNL Nation and Empire Distribution, released his debut studio album, Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps, in 2019.
“Scatter” from the debut album was featured on the FIFA 21 game soundtrack.
He won Listener’s Choice and received a Song of the Year nomination for “Jealous” at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival. The same year, he released his sophomore album Apollo.
Fireboy DML received media attention in Nigeria after FC Bayern Munich utilized his hit tune “Champion” to commemorate their UEFA Super Cup victory in 2020.
Fireboy’s third studio album “Playboy” was released in 2022. His song, “Coming Back For You,” will be included in the soundtrack to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in November 2022.
Fireboy characterizes his music as “Afro-Life” and credits Jon Bellion, Passenger, and Wande Coal as his primary modern influences.
Fireboy recently announced his intention to embark on a personal adventure following the release of his impending fourth studio album.
