Chidimma Adetshina, a former finalist in the Miss South Africa competition, has returned to Lagos after a two-decade absence in anticipation of the forthcoming Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
Adetshina arrived in Lagos from Cape Town on Wednesday, August 21, and was greeted with a warm and royal reception.
At 23 years of age, the model had previously withdrawn from the Miss South Africa contest due to a dispute regarding her nationality. She expressed her excitement about returning to Nigeria for the first time in twenty years.
Representing Taraba state, Adetshina is eager to explore the country during her visit and participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant, scheduled for August 31.
In addition to her modeling pursuits, Adetshina is also a law student and looks forward to resuming her studies following the pageant.
She expressed her appreciation for the warm welcome she received and is enthusiastic about her upcoming experiences in Nigeria.
