Singer Chike has claimed that the Apple Music Nigeria top songs chart is significantly compromised.

He pointed out that both the top 10 and top 20 charts are extensively manipulated. Nevertheless, he noted that there are a few exceptions to this situation.

In a recent episode of ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Chike revealed that he could easily secure a top position on the Apple Music chart by instructing his team to pay for stream enhancements.

“Your Top 10 and Top 20 on Apple Music is rigged… Not all the time to be fair but most times,” he said.

“But will you even call it rigged? I think people are willing to do certain things in the name of promotion. Because I think with all the music going on around now is about visibility. If you don’t take it to people, they might not really see it.

“Right now, if I want to be top 10 on Apple Music, I can tell my guys ‘okay please spend $30,000’ and we will go to top 10. But then it’s not real. And don’t get me wrong, not everybody. But most times that’s actually what’s going on. So I’m not going to be spending to cancel against sometimes even people that have more money than me.”

In other news, Controversial activist VeryDarkMan recently revealed the results of his discussion with rapper Falz, which centered on allegations of defamation.

This incident comes on the heels of VeryDarkMan’s public apology to Femi Falana, where he conveyed his profound respect for the Senior Advocate.

In his remarks to Falz, VDM mentioned that Seun Kuti had contacted him, urging him to engage in dialogue with the rapper.

He emphasized to Falz that he had not defamed him and indicated that their conflict would be resolved in court. VDM also conveyed his hope that Falz would focus on exonerating himself and his father’s reputation in relation to Bobrisky, rather than pursuing him.

Furthermore, VDM committed to presenting additional evidence concerning Bobrisky’s case later in the day as he continues his pursuit of justice.
