Renowned Ghanaian actress Grace Omaboe, widely recognized as Maame Dokono, has articulated her aspiration to establish a lasting legacy through the creation of a statue.
In a recent interview with Blakk Rasta on 3FM’s Urban Blend show, the esteemed actress shared her vision of leaving behind a significant legacy in the form of a statue.
Maame Dokono believes that such a monument would serve to inspire future generations and commemorate her contributions to the industry.
She emphasized that although she is not actively seeking this form of recognition, she would appreciate it if it were to come to fruition.
In her words:
“Yes! I think there should be my statue there for my legacy to be in the minds of the little ones who are coming because I am even in their books.”
“If something like that could be erected in my honor, it will be a nice thing. I am not forcing anybody to do it but if it is done, fine.”
